Transforming the Holiday Search & Booking Experience

We completely redesigned Neilson's holiday search results engine, implementing advanced filtering by airport, date, duration, resort, and activity type. We built intelligent sold-out handling so customers see availability clearly, developed scarcity messaging to drive conversion, and introduced an accommodation-only booking flow that opened up an entirely new revenue channel. We also delivered the quote recovery system, enabling customers to return and complete bookings seamlessly.

Reimagining Accommodation Pages

A ground-up rebuild of the accommodation page template: hero galleries with video, interactive activity sections, room carousels, local area guides, transfer detail, expandable content modules, and integrated Feefo reviews with AI-powered sentiment filtering. Rigorously A/B tested and rolled out across every beach club and resort property.

MyNeilson Customer Portal

We led major enhancements to MyNeilson, migrating the admin panel to a Filament-based architecture, implementing Azure SSO, building the Choose Your Room feature with interactive resort maps, managing booking extras and passenger details, and integrating kids club information. The portal now supports Stay & Sail and multi-room bookings.

New Resort Launches

When Neilson expanded to destinations like Mauritius, we handled the technical complexity of holidays where flight departure and hotel arrival dates differ: caching, search, booking journey UI, and portal updates. We also onboarded properties like Baia dei Mori Beach Club from CMS to interactive resort maps.

Driving Conversion Through Data

We've been instrumental in Neilson's CRO programme, building and managing A/B tests through Symplify across search, checkout, navigation, and accommodation pages. We implemented GA4 Measurement Protocol, Facebook Conversion API, data layer events, and purchase tracking.

Technical Excellence & Reliability

Beyond features, we've maintained platform health: Drupal core and module updates, security patches, image optimisation, Webpack 5 upgrades, accessibility improvements, and robust error monitoring via Rollbar. We've also maintained the recruitment site and agent booking platform.
